Writing a post a week is fairly ambitious, which leads to essentially researching or coming up with some sort of ideas over five or six days that will culminate in a post on a seventh day. Although I suppose the posts can have some related lineage, building up to an emergent thesis later on.
Let’s start a list of stuff I’m interested in:
- Architectural Detail
- Machine Learning and Automation of Design
- Game Theory in negotiation as related to client/ colleagues/ BD relations
- Comparative Building Codes of Jurisdictions (Submission/ Fire Safety/ etc)
- Ongoing thesis about office and workplace
Ideally, I’ll have a bibliography in each of the books to build up a general framework of which to generate posts and ideas. This will probably be the juxtaposition of different sources with some of my interpretations and summaries. Therefore, I’ll have to speed read the books, summarize them, then compare them.
I’ll tackle ‘ Architectural Detail’ this week as I was reading up and studying them. The time that I can devote to this is probably my lunch time (as I’m staying in) and perhaps some night time reading. Be interested in what you guys are interested in.
